Role Overview
The Senior Analyst within the Capital Markets Fund Management team supports the timely and efficient execution of various financing activities such as tax equity, project finance debt, and corporate debt transactions. Responsibilities include leading key financial processes, interacting with internal teams and external partners, and contributing to process improvements and positive company culture. This position offers growth potential to manage financings independently over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of loan draws, letters of credit, and surety bond issuances while supporting due diligence and transaction documentation negotiations.
- Address challenges and drive deal execution to achieve timely financial close.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with company departments and external stakeholders including lenders, investors, and independent engineers.
- Collaborate closely with diverse company teams such as Development, Procurement, Construction, Asset Management, Finance, and Legal.
- Assist in streamlining and enhancing business processes.
- Contribute positively to company culture and uphold uncompromising business ethics.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, or a related discipline.
- Experience in law firms, sponsors, investors/lenders, or advisory roles within power, infrastructure, or real estate sectors is beneficial.
- Proficiency with loan documentation preferred.
- Proactive mindset with the confidence to take initiative and communicate effectively.
- Self-driven with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
- Team-oriented and collaborative attitude.
Work Location and Schedule
This role is hybrid, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, CA, or Denver, CO, with onsite work requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $130,000, with total compensation potentially including performance bonuses, equity grants, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. SB Energy offers a generous benefits package comprising:
