Role Overview
As a Senior Analyst in BCG’s Corporate Finance & Strategy practice and the Center for CFO Excellence team, you will contribute to a global client-serving group focused on CFO priorities. The role spans value creation strategy, performance management, digital finance, and agile ways of working in finance.
The work involves shaping the finance organization, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance function, managing finance costs, supporting better decision-making, enabling value creation, and helping align corporate, financial, and investor strategies.
What You Will Do
- Work with core consulting teams on client engagements as a topic expert, helping identify issues and define solutions.
- Analyze client challenges and translate findings into practical, client-ready insights and recommendations.
- Support modules within client projects and take ownership of assigned workstreams to successful completion.
- Bring benchmarking and analytical expertise across finance topics such as profitability, capital structure, liquidity, and cash flow.
- Apply deep end-to-end knowledge in at least two finance process towers such as Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, FP&A, Cash & Banking / Treasury, Payroll, or Fixed Assets.
- Collaborate with topic teams to create, refresh, and maintain knowledge assets, tools, and analytical materials related to CFO excellence.
- Contribute to problem solving, workshop discussions, slide writing, storylining, and presentation of findings to clients.
- Support proposal development by sharing transformation perspectives, BCG capabilities, relevant credentials, and expert input.
- Help build and maintain knowledge management content, including abstracts, indexes, and practice-area intellectual capital.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in areas such as management consulting, financial management, controlling and reporting, treasury, accounting and audit, corporate development, corporate finance, or a similar field.
- A master’s degree in business administration, corporate finance, accounting, mathematics, or a related discipline with strong academic performance, or a CPA with management consulting experience.
- Experience or knowledge in one or more of the following: finance organization, shared services, finance transformation, external and internal reporting, corporate governance, performance management, planning, budgeting, target setting, or corporate risk management.
- Ability to work confidently with clients and build strong professional relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- High work ethic, service mindset, and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, credibility, teamwork, and a proactive approach.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
- Fluency in Arabic.
Who You Will Work With
You will partner closely with core consulting teams and topic teams. In client work, you will support discussions, develop insights, enhance deliverables, and help shape recommendations. Within the topic community, you will contribute to knowledge products, maintain consistency across databases, and support broader intellectual capital and business development efforts.
