Job Summary

The Senior Analyst position supports the AVPs and VPs within the Healthcare Finance Division. This division specializes in providing loans—asset-based, real estate, HUD, and construction—to healthcare service providers across the U.S. The analyst assists with loan analysis, evaluation, documentation, and closing, contributing directly to the growth of the healthcare finance business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate potential direct loans and participation opportunities involving healthcare service providers and healthcare real estate owners.
  • Create and analyze financial projection models and perform sensitivity analyses to determine loan repayment feasibility under different economic conditions.
  • Conduct financial due diligence on prospective companies.
  • Draft loan investment approval documents for review by the bank’s credit committee, with appropriate oversight.
  • Coordinate closing procedures alongside Portfolio Management and Operations teams.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Management to monitor portfolio company performance and prepare regular updates.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in audit, credit analysis, investment banking, M&A transaction services, financial rotational programs, or HUD/loan underwriting roles.
  • Experience in healthcare lending is advantageous.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including financial modeling expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial statements and solid accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication abilities—verbal, written, and interpersonal.
  • Exceptional organizational aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Self-directed, motivated, results-focused, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Position Requirements and Work Environment

  • The role generally involves office-based work with some remote flexibility at the manager’s discretion.
  • Typical duties require extended stationary positions, frequent use of hands and computer monitors, operation of office equipment, and clear verbal and written communication.
