Senior AI Scientist - Systematic Trading

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Scientist specialized in systematic trading to design and implement cutting-edge AI-powered data products. The role involves leveraging machine learning, large language models, and advanced AI methodologies to create scalable, effective solutions for complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop AI-driven data products using machine learning frameworks, large language models, and contemporary AI technologies.
• Create, train, fine-tune, assess, and deploy AI/ML models utilizing both proprietary and external data sources.
• Construct comprehensive machine learning pipelines covering data preparation, feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring phases.
• Employ generative AI and large language model techniques for business applications such as text summarization, classification, information extraction, semantic search, and automating workflows.
• Collaborate closely with product teams, engineering groups, and business stakeholders to transform challenging business problems into scalable AI solutions.
• Assess, incorporate, and optimize third-party AI tools, APIs, open-source models, and internal AI platforms.
• Establish robust data pipelines and workflows for processing both structured and unstructured datasets.
• Define model evaluation criteria, execute experiments, conduct error analyses, and iteratively enhance model performance.
• Support AI model production deployments, ensuring dependability, scalability, governance, and adherence to responsible AI standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Computer Science or a related area specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a similar field.
• Proficient programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Documented publication history in top-tier machine learning or AI conferences.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a role focused on AI/ML.
• Experience handling large-scale datasets and implementing predictive modeling approaches.
• Previous involvement in financial services is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving competencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
