Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily management of the rates function ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and handle rates notices and various billing activities efficiently.
- Process property and rating-related transactions precisely.
- Maintain the Name and Address Register (NAR) with up-to-date information.
- Address customer inquiries with professionalism and promptness.
- Support auditing and reconciliation efforts within the department.
- Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and service quality.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider finance team to achieve organisational goals.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in rates, revenue, property administration, utilities billing, or comparable fields.
- Strong customer service orientation coupled with excellent communication skills.
- Detail-focused with solid organisational capabilities.
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to the role.
- Comfortable working with financial or property management systems.
- Proactive in pursuing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Professional and cooperative in attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
