Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management of the rates function ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and handle rates notices and various billing activities efficiently.
• Process property and rating-related transactions precisely.
• Maintain the Name and Address Register (NAR) with up-to-date information.
• Address customer inquiries with professionalism and promptness.
• Support auditing and reconciliation efforts within the department.
• Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and service quality.
• Collaborate effectively with the wider finance team to achieve organisational goals.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in rates, revenue, property administration, utilities billing, or comparable fields.
• Strong customer service orientation coupled with excellent communication skills.
• Detail-focused with solid organisational capabilities.
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to the role.
• Comfortable working with financial or property management systems.
