Job description
Role Overview
Join Loyka as a Senior Accounts Executive to oversee and execute comprehensive accounting functions vital to our bakery and confectionery business operations. Monitor financial transactions, ensure statutory compliance, and collaborate with auditors to support smooth finance operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Record journal entries meticulously and maintain accurate accounting documentation.
- Develop and update financial statements, ledgers, and accounting reports regularly.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable management.
- Process payments to vendors and manage bank transaction uploads via online portals.
- Conduct bank reconciliations daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Handle account reconciliations impacting both Loyka and its bakery ventures.
- Prepare and submit GST and TDS returns adhering to regulatory deadlines.
- Aid in the preparation of financial, MIS, and cash flow reports.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits, providing necessary assistance.
- Maintain the accounting system up-to-date assuring data integrity and completeness.
- Regularly reconcile customer, vendor, and bank accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and tax laws.
- Maintain thorough documentation and records for all financial transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Undertake additional finance and accounting tasks as delegated by management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field; M.Com is an advantage.
- Have 5 to 6 years of practical experience across accounting and finance functions.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in GST, TDS, bank reconciliations, taxation, and account finalization.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally ERP or Tally Prime, and proficiency with MS Excel.
- Solid understanding of statutory compliance and financial reporting requirements.
- Exhibit strong analytical thinking, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Navi Mumbai.
