Role Overview
This remote, full-time position is for an experienced Senior Accountant who will manage core accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and help ensure adherence to GAAP standards. The role involves financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting support, and the preparation of management reports, along with initiatives that improve processes and strengthen accounting efficiency.
Key Duties
- Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements with a high level of accuracy.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure accounting activities follow GAAP and internal compliance requirements.
- Analyze financial information to support business decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and periodic reporting for leadership.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support accurate and efficient financial operations.
Required Profile
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance.
- Hands-on experience with account reconciliation, budget tracking, and forecasting.
- Comfort using accounting platforms, ERP tools, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving mindset.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for explaining financial information to stakeholders.
- Capability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines consistently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- CPA or an equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing or export/import businesses is an added advantage.
