- Drive the month-end and year-end close activities, including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations.

At least 2 years of that background should come from a regulated financial services setting. Professional qualification progress is expected, with candidates who are part-qualified or fully qualified in ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CMA being suitable. Strong IFRS knowledge is essential, as is practical experience with VAT filing in the UAE and familiarity with UAE Corporate Tax.
Applicants should be comfortable using accounting platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Xero, and must have strong Excel capabilities. Prior exposure to month-end close routines, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and audit support is important. Experience in DIFC or ADGM-regulated firms, reporting for DFSA, SCA, or ADGM, fund accounting, asset management finance, treasury, cash flow forecasting, or AAOIFI standards would be advantageous.
