Job Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to enhance our team in Ahmedabad. This role demands expertise in managing accounting and bookkeeping for US-based clients within a dynamic, process-oriented environment. The selected candidate is expected to join by the second week of August.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bookkeeping activities to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct thorough bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Process and document vendor invoices, payments, and distributions to owners.
- Manage tenant accounts, including rent postings and security deposits.
- Compile monthly financial statements and reports.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, AppFolio, Yardi, and DoorLoop.
- Support preparation of 1099 forms and year-end closing procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and US clients through email and telephonic communication.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience with US accounting and bookkeeping.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with property management software is advantageous.
- Have a solid understanding of US accounting standards and principles.
- Exhibit keen attention to detail and excellent organizational capabilities.
- Maintain strong verbal and written communication skills.
Working Schedule and Location
- Work hours are Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
- The first two Saturdays each month are also designated working days.
- The position requires presence at the Prahaladnagar office in Ahmedabad (work from office).
