Senior Accountant

Role overview

Saudi Automatic Salt Refinery (SASA) / MASA Salt Company is hiring a Senior Accountant for its finance function in Jiddah. This position is focused on keeping accounting activities accurate and current, producing reliable financial statements, assisting with closing cycles, tracking budgets, and making sure the company follows the relevant accounting rules and local legal requirements.

What you will handle

• Oversee routine accounting work and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare financial reports that are complete and correct.
• Support month-end and year-end closing tasks.
• Monitor budgets and help keep spending aligned with plans.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations.
• Perform cost accounting activities.
• Reconcile inventory and related balances.
• Assist during audits and provide the necessary supporting documentation.
• Work with teams across the business to improve financial results and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be Saudi nationals.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience is needed, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger processes, budgeting, cost accounting, IFRS, and ERP platforms is expected.
• Holding a professional credential such as SOCPA, CPA, or CMA will be considered an added advantage.
• The role calls for strong analytical ability, good organization, and clear communication skills.
• Immediate availability to join is strongly preferred.
