Senior Accountant (Manufacturing)

The employer is a well-established manufacturing business operating at a mid-sized scale. The role sits within a finance team that supports accurate reporting, cost control, and regulatory compliance.

Role Summary

This position is for a seasoned Senior Accountant who can take ownership of financial accounting activities, support manufacturing cost analysis, and ensure adherence to local requirements in Qatar. The role reports to the Finance Manager and requires someone who can start right away while already being based in Qatar.

Core Duties

• Handle end-to-end accounting activities, including month-end and year-end closing work, ledger upkeep, reconciliation tasks, and preparation of journal entries.
• Prepare financial reports and analyze manufacturing costs such as cost of goods sold, inventory valuation, and fixed assets.
• Maintain compliance with Qatar’s tax rules and related regulations, and work with both internal and external auditors during review processes.
• Use advanced ERP software to improve efficiency and automate routine finance operations.

Candidate Profile

The company is looking for an accountant with 4 to 7 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline, and strong hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle or MS Dynamics. Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
