About the Role

KNS Restaurants Private Limited is seeking a precise and reliable Senior Accountant to handle daily accounting duties, ensure statutory compliance, manage taxation, oversee payroll duties, handle vendor payments, and prepare financial reports. Candidates with proficiency in Tally software, GST, TDS, and accounting standards are preferred, especially those with expertise in hospitality, restaurant, retail, or manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily accounting records using Tally ERP or Tally Prime.
  • Record sales, purchase transactions, receipts, payments, and journal entries diligently.
  • Keep updated ledgers including General Ledger, Cash Book, and Bank Book.
  • Organize and file accounting documents properly.
  • Manage accounts payable by processing vendor bills and payments, and reconcile supplier statements.
  • Follow up on customer payments if relevant and maintain outstanding receivables reports.
  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations and verify cash deposits from outlets.
  • Manage petty cash and prepare reimbursement statements.
  • Coordinate banking transactions with financial institutions.
  • Prepare and submit GST returns; reconcile GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-2B filings.
  • Ensure timely GST compliance and maintain accurate records of GST input credits.
  • Deduct TDS, deposit it timely, prepare TDS returns, and issue TDS certificates.
  • Assist during Income Tax assessments.
  • Support payroll by coordinating with HR on salary processing, verifying attendance, deductions, compliance, and reimbursement claims.
  • Maintain thorough payroll documentation.
  • Create monthly financial statements such as Profit & Loss reports and Balance Sheet schedules.
  • Generate Management Information System (MIS) and cash flow reports.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Verify purchase invoices, monitor food costs, and evaluate inventory valuations.
  • Collaborate with store and procurement teams to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory compliances including GST, TDS, Professional Tax, EPF, ESIC, and applicable labor laws.
  • Maintain registers and other mandatory statutory records.
  • Provide support during internal and statutory audits by preparing audit schedules and maintaining necessary documentation.

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this position is between 25000 and 35000 INR.
