Senior Accountant Financial Reporting

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee core financial reporting, monthly close processes, and audit coordination. This position requires strong proficiency in Oracle Fusion, including the FCCS module, advanced Excel abilities, and a background preferably in real estate, property, or facility management industries.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
• Handle core accounting operations such as general ledger maintenance, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Maintain compliance with IFRS standards, company policies, and local UAE regulations.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Serve as liaison with internal and external auditors, facilitating audits through complete preparation and required documentation.
• Utilize Oracle Fusion ERP, specifically the FCCS module, for financial reporting and consolidation tasks.
• Support financial planning and decision-making by providing insightful data analysis and reporting.
• Create and upkeep automated reports and dashboards using advanced Excel tools like Pivot Tables, Power Query, and macros.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency in financial reporting and closing procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA is preferred.
• Five to six years of relevant accounting experience within the UAE.
• Demonstrable expertise in month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP.
• Essential knowledge of the FCCS module.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience within real estate, property management, or facility management sectors is highly regarded.
• Strong grasp of IFRS guidelines and UAE financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
