About the Role
GLO LED Private Limited, a company specialized in electronics manufacturing based in Hyderabad, is seeking a Senior Accountant with 2 to 4 years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance related to taxation, payroll, and inventory. Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, EPF, and ESI, especially within the manufacturing or electronics sectors, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting transactions and the General Ledger accurately.
- Prepare and finalize monthly financial statements and conduct month-end and year-end closings.
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash, ledgers, supplier, and customer accounts.
- Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns while ensuring compliance with GST and Income Tax rules.
- Manage TDS deduction, payment, and return filings.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and customer collections.
- Support payroll processing by verifying salaries, deductions, and reimbursements and ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as EPF, ESI, Professional Tax, and labor laws.
- Verify inventory valuations and reconcile stock records, monitor production costs and material usage in coordination with Stores, Purchase, and Production teams.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, budget versus actual analyses, and departmental cost control reports for management.
- Coordinate internal and statutory audits by preparing schedules and documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate degree such as B.Com or M.Com; MBA in Finance or CA Intermediate qualifications are preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of practical experience in accounts and finance, ideally within the electronics manufacturing or broader manufacturing industry.
Skills and Technical Proficiencies
- Strong grounding in accounting principles, taxation laws including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance like EPF and ESI.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and cost accounting, inventory control, and budget management.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and familiarity with ERP software such as Tally Prime, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities with strong communication skills.
