Role Overview
The position of Senior Accountant involves overseeing daily accounting tasks such as maintaining the general ledger, recording journal entries, and performing account reconciliations. This on-site role in Riyadh requires preparing financial statements, tracking cash flows, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. The incumbent will manage accounts payable and receivable, ensure transaction accuracy, and support the closing processes at month-end and year-end. Additionally, the role includes handling tax and regulatory submissions, liaising with external auditors, and implementing internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
The Senior Accountant will work closely with operations and management teams to deliver financial insights, enhance reporting practices, and facilitate strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ experience with industrial accounting and costing, ideally related to industrial equipment.
- Proficiency with accounting software, especially ODOO, complemented by advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Solid expertise in financial accounting, management of the general ledger, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performing financial analyses to guide management decisions.
- Competence in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow within industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Familiarity with tax laws, regulatory compliance, and engagement with external audit processes.
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to enhancing processes and controls.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, capable of cross-functional collaboration and effective financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Willingness to work on-site in Riyadh and adapt to a dynamic multicultural workplace.
