Job description
About Digiturnal
Digiturnal is a marketing and creative firm based in Doha, specializing in strategy, branding, Arabic-focused content creation, social media, production, and technology services. Their portfolio heavily features work for government and national institutions, producing widely recognized campaigns and content without public visibility of their brand. Currently, they are enhancing their government and institutional client services, centering this role within that growth.
Role Overview
As the Senior Account Manager, you will be the primary liaison managing the day-to-day engagement with a key national government client. Acting as the single point of communication, you ensure alignment between the client’s standards and the agency’s delivery. Your presence will be split between the client’s offices and Digiturnal’s headquarters in Doha. You will lead a senior creative and production team comprising strategists, designers, content creators, photographers, videographers, filmmakers, and community managers — delivering trusted outcomes that meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full client relationship including weekly operations meetings, priority setting, issue escalation, and satisfaction monitoring.
- Oversee creation and approval of the monthly content calendar, facilitating reviews and ensuring written sign-offs.
- Receive client requests, assign tasks to appropriate internal teams, and monitor each job to meet stipulated turnaround times, including urgent same-day event deliverables.
- Administer feedback cycles, consolidating client responses internally and presenting finalized work for client approval.
- Maintain thorough documentation and trackers conforming to government standards that log requests, amendments, and decisions.
- Deliver monthly performance reports in person and translate insights into subsequent monthly action plans.
- Coordinate logistical requirements for events, including coverage, permits, access, and precise delivery scheduling.
- Guarantee adherence to brand guidelines, national identity, and cultural norms throughout all output.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience in account management, client services, or project management within agency or communications environments.
- Demonstrable background working with government or semi-government organizations in Qatar, understanding the specific decision-making processes and patience such clients require.
- Native-level fluency in Arabic, coupled with advanced professional proficiency in English; skilled in drafting, presenting, and negotiating in both languages.
- Established long-term residency in Qatar with deep knowledge of local market dynamics, cultural sensitivities, and business rhythms.
- Willingness and ability to work embedded part-time at client premises, representing the agency directly on-site.
- Exceptional organizational skills managing calendars, documentation, workflows, and timely communications.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience handling social media intensive accounts including content calendar management, community engagement, and monthly analytics reporting.
- Proven ability to coordinate high-pressure photo and video coverage of official events with tight delivery deadlines.
- Familiar with formal Arabic correspondence and protocols in governmental communications.
