Role Overview
The agency is seeking a Senior Account Executive who will confidently lead client accounts across both press and influencer marketing sectors. This pivotal role involves managing earned media initiatives and designing influencer campaigns with autonomy to generate impactful results and award-winning work. The position is fully remote but requires the candidate to reside in Los Angeles to support local on-site events.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead press and influencer workstreams independently as a vital team member.
- Manage daily client operations, including announcements, media and influencer communications, emails, and weekly meetings.
- Conduct proactive media outreach to consistently secure high-quality press coverage across beauty, lifestyle, commerce, and business outlets.
- Plan and implement integrated influencer campaigns involving sourcing, vetting, briefing, negotiating, and managing talent and their representatives for gifting and paid partnerships.
- Offer strategic guidance on speaking engagements, awards programs, thought leadership, creator strategies, and performance measurement, including comprehensive reporting and recaps.
- Create written content such as press releases, pitch materials, briefs, fact sheets, talking points, and client correspondence.
- Stay current with pop culture, media trends, and the creator ecosystem to identify opportunities that enhance client visibility with key media and tastemakers.
- Assist and execute event strategies involving media and influencers, including production and staffing responsibilities.
- Oversee influencer KPIs throughout campaigns, including rate analysis, attribution, performance reporting, and proficiency with platforms like CreatorIQ.
- Embody the agency's values of resourcefulness, cooperation, and kindness.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of four years’ experience combining public relations and influencer marketing, with direct involvement in both press and creator initiatives; agency experience preferred.
- In-depth understanding of beauty, wellness, or lifestyle sectors, including familiarity with editors and notable creators.
- Established connections with beauty, lifestyle, commerce, or business media, and confidence in working with talent managers, agents, or platform representatives.
- Proven success in media pitching with a history of acquiring impactful, high-profile coverage and meeting press KPIs.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills related to influencer KPIs, rate benchmarking, attribution methods, and reporting; skillful use of influencer marketing platforms such as CreatorIQ.
- Strategic thinker with high attention to detail, capable of navigating from broad concepts to precise materials.
- Confident communicator with polished professional presence and strategic acumen in client interactions.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, scaling boutique environment valuing autonomy and significant individual impact.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Keen awareness of digital culture and social platform dynamics, able to identify talent quickly and align with specific project briefs.
