About the Role

Blackboard Education & Research Foundation is hiring a results-focused Senior Education Counsellor (Sales) / Career Development Advisor for its online learning platform, College Vidya. The role is based in Noida and involves helping prospective learners choose the most suitable UGC-approved online degree and certificate programs from universities across India.

What the Role Involves

This position is suited to someone who can combine counselling expertise with a strong sales orientation. The selected candidate will speak with prospective students, understand their education and career goals, recommend suitable programs, and support them through the admission and enrolment journey while working toward sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential students over phone calls, email, and both virtual and face-to-face interactions.
  • Assess each learner's academic background and career objectives to suggest relevant online programs.
  • Support applicants through admission and enrolment steps from start to finish.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly enrolment or admission targets.
  • Keep lead information, follow-ups, and progress updates accurately entered in the CRM.
  • Develop and maintain lasting relationships with prospective learners.
  • Track updates in the education sector, university portfolios, and competitor activity.

Eligibility and Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in any field is required.
  • Applicants should have 1 to 3 years of experience in education counselling, academic sales, or student advisory roles.
  • Prior experience counselling for online degrees is mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems such as LSQ, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar tools is needed.
  • Comfort with MS Office applications is expected.
  • The ideal candidate should bring strong communication, interpersonal, persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • A customer-first attitude, a target-oriented approach, good time management, multitasking ability, and problem-solving skills are important for success in the role.
