Key Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships in line with UK GAAP, including FRS 102 and FRS 105.

- Prepare and check UK VAT returns, including standard, flat-rate, and Making Tax Digital submissions.
- Prepare corporation tax computations (CT600) and self-assessment calculations for review by a UK manager.
- Keep working papers and supporting schedules accurate and aligned with the firm’s internal standards.
- Work with UK-based managers, raise issues clearly, and close queries in a timely manner.
- Handle several assignments simultaneously and consistently meet filing and client deadlines.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum qualification should be CA Inter; qualified CAs or ACCAs will be considered an advantage.

- Strong grasp of accounting basics such as double-entry bookkeeping, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and control accounts.
- Working knowledge of UK accounting and tax tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, FreeAgent, IRIS, TaxCalc, or comparable software.
- Familiarity with UK VAT rules and Making Tax Digital processes is needed.
