Job description
Overview
Join the team in Barleben as a security professional supporting the safety and smooth running of a customer site. The role is available immediately and requires at least the formal qualification under Section 34a.
Working schedule
This is a full-time on-site position with shifts running Monday to Sunday, including public holidays. The shift windows are 05:00 to 17:00 and 17:00 to 05:00.
What you will do
- Be the first point of contact for visitors and customers at reception.
- Handle weighing-related tasks and entry control at the gate.
- Carry out regular patrols, including condition checks and locking/unlocking duties.
- Maintain general safety, security, and order on site.
- Initiate appropriate actions to prevent or respond to hazards.
- Perform access checks and personal screening at the entrance area.
- Monitor, control, and coordinate pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
- Take on mobile patrol duties.
What the role requires
- Good spoken and written German skills; C1 level is preferred.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends.
- Valid Class B driving licence (old Class 3) is mandatory.
- Friendly, service-minded behavior and a professional manner.
- Security qualification under Section 34a GewO.
- Recent police clearance certificate with no entries.

- Hourly pay according to the BDSW collective agreement: 15.15 EUR per hour.
