Security Analyst - Cyber Security with CompTia CySA+ and ISO27001 Expertise

Role Overview

We are seeking a Security Analyst to join a dynamic and fast-growing organization based in Cardiff. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring in-office presence approximately twice weekly.

Key Responsibilities

The Security Analyst will contribute to the deployment of new security technologies while supporting the ongoing development and upkeep of organizational security policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures. Additionally, the role involves participation in vulnerability assessments and security audits to ensure robust protection mechanisms.

Experience and Qualifications

Ideal candidates should have around three or more years of experience in IT or Cyber Security roles. Experience with Microsoft Defender or equivalents, Mimecast or similar email security solutions, and proxy solutions such as Zscaler is essential. A strong understanding of Cyber Essentials and ISO27001 standards is expected. Certification in CompTia CySA+ and Microsoft Security Operations is mandatory to qualify for this role.
