Overview
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced an opportunity to fill 119 Section Controller roles, with five posts allocated to the Secunderabad Zone. This role is vital to railway operations management. Selected candidates start with a salary of ₹35,000 per month, along with medical benefits and other railway entitlements. Opportunities for promotion up to the rank of Division Controller are available by the time of retirement.

Eligible candidates must hold a degree and be aged between 20 and 33 years, with age relaxations of three years for OBC candidates and five years for SC/ST candidates. Selection Process
The recruitment includes two stages of computer-based tests. The preliminary exam carries 100 marks covering subjects such as math aptitude, logical reasoning, and logical capability. Successful preliminary candidates (eight per post) progress to the mains examination, which tests visual differentiation, psychometric abilities, and speed perception. After passing the mains, candidates undergo certificate verification before final selection based on reservation criteria.
