Position Details
This role involves teaching French as a Second Language along with Science courses, specifically for the first cycle of FSL. The position is located at Massey-Vanier Secondary School in Cowansville, Quebec, and is a full-time replacement contract (E8) with a workload of 100% from August 25, 2026, to June 29, 2027.
Compensation
The salary will align with the current collective agreement, ranging from 54,119 to 105,432 Canadian dollars annually, subject to a percentage factor.
Supervision
This position reports directly to the school principal.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must meet at least one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Hold or be in the process of obtaining a valid Quebec teaching authorization: teaching certificate, teaching permit, or provisional authorization.
- Be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in education at a Quebec university (proof of enrollment required).
- Possess a bachelor's degree in a field related to the teaching subject, along with relevant experience working with youth or adults.
For degrees obtained outside Quebec, a comparative evaluation of studies conducted abroad issued by the Ministry of Immigration, Francisation, and Integration confirming that the candidate holds a bachelor's degree is necessary.
