Seasonal Housekeeper

This seasonal housekeeping role supports daily resort operations by keeping guest units clean, organized, and aligned with the property’s quality standards.

What You’ll Do

• Clean guest accommodations, including bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas, while maintaining a consistently tidy and welcoming environment across the resort.
• Follow housekeeping quality standards by vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, stripping beds, making beds, restocking carts, replenishing kitchen and toiletry supplies, handling linens, and removing waste from units.
• Help with common-area cleaning when there are no assigned units to service.
• Protect guest property by following safety precautions and promptly reporting damage, theft, or lost and found items to a supervisor.
• Support guest satisfaction by responding to questions and concerns, resolving issues when possible, and escalating matters that need management attention.
• Work closely with other departments to maintain smooth operations and deliver consistent service.
• Follow resort procedures, operational compliance requirements, safety and security rules, and all standard operating guidelines.
• Model the company’s “Count On Me” approach by being respectful, responsive, and service-focused with guests and coworkers.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent credential is preferred.
• At least six months of related housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational ability.
• Comfort using cleaning products, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand routine instructions, brief memos, and simple correspondence.
• Customer-service mindset with a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• General understanding of cleaning methods, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Must be able to work in Canada; sponsorship is not available, including PNP or LMIA support.
• Candidates must already have housing arranged and be able to commute to the Whistler property.

Schedule, Travel, and Duration

This is a seasonal role ending in December 2026, with a possibility of becoming a regular full-time position. Travel is not required for the job, though any off-site training would be local and last roughly half a day to a full day.

Compensation and Bonus

The starting pay is generally CAD 26.75 per hour. Final pay will depend on factors such as experience, education, skills, training, and work location.

A signing bonus is available for team members who complete the 90-day threshold: CAD 250 for part-time staff working at least two days per week, and CAD 500 for full-time staff.
