Seasonal General Operative - Farranfore, Co. Kerry

About the Role

We are currently seeking a seasonal General Operative to join our Kerry Dairy Ireland team based in Farranfore, County Kerry. This role is a full-time, seasonal opportunity lasting between 8 to 9 months. Working hours follow a rotating shift pattern from 08:00 to 16:00 and 16:00 to 00:00 from Monday to Friday, including frequent mandatory overtime on Saturdays.

Our Farranfore Kinisla Agribusiness site specializes in producing various animal feed products. Full training will be provided to all new team members to ensure they are well equipped for the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to pack finished products into 25kg bags efficiently and safely.
• Utilize forklifts and other tools to transport materials and products to designated locations and manage loading and unloading of deliveries. Organizing pallets as required.
• Support production line changes and accurately record production data.
• Maintain a clean and organized plant environment by sorting waste materials such as spillage, packing waste, and scrap metal into appropriate containers across the site.
• Promptly report any production line issues to the Line Manager.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures to ensure personal safety and that of colleagues.
• Perform manual handling tasks as part of daily duties.

Candidate Profile

We welcome individuals at different stages of their careers who are eager to learn and can follow site procedures precisely. Being a team player and the ability to work the specified shifts are essential. Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
