Job description
Role overview
A global aerospace organization is looking for a Scrum Master / QA Test Lead to support software delivery in a blended leadership and quality assurance capacity. The position combines Agile facilitation with oversight of testing activities so the team can release reliable software on schedule.
Engagement details
This is a 12-month contract assignment with a strong chance of extension. The role follows a 40-hour work week, structured as four 10-hour days. The position is remote within the United States.
This is a W-2 employment arrangement through Stage 4 Solutions. Eligible team members receive health coverage and access to a 401(k) plan.
What you will do
The assignment carries both Scrum Master and QA Test Lead responsibilities. You will guide Agile ceremonies, help remove delivery barriers, and coordinate testing efforts across development and QA so the product meets quality expectations.
Scrum Master duties
You will support the Agile process by coaching the team on Scrum practices, running core ceremonies, and working to clear obstacles that slow progress. You will also encourage teamwork, openness, and constructive communication across the organization.
QA Test Lead duties
You will own the testing process by defining test plans, outlining scope and methods, and identifying the resources needed for execution. The role also includes managing manual and automated testing, tracking defects, partnering with developers to resolve issues quickly, and preparing testing metrics and risk updates for stakeholders and management.
Requirements
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and hold a bachelor’s degree. Prior experience should include both Scrum Master responsibilities and test leadership, with the ability to manage meetings, resolve blockers, organize test coverage, and report quality status clearly.
Equal opportunity notice
The employer is committed to inclusive hiring practices and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion or belief, national origin, gender identity, age, disability, marital status, genetic information, or other legally protected characteristics.
Compensation
Pay is set at $55.00 to $60.14 per hour.
