Role Overview

This contract opportunity is for a Scientific & Laboratory Operations Specialist working remotely. The position focuses on evaluating scientific and laboratory content with a strong emphasis on accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

The assignment offers compensation in the range of $50 to $70 per hour and is expected to require about 10 to 40 hours each week.

Key Responsibilities

Examine scientific figures, lab reports, and experimental outcomes to confirm they are clear and correct.
Review dashboards and scientific visuals, then provide specialist feedback on their accuracy and presentation quality.
Develop scoring rubrics and evaluation criteria for interpreting technical industry documents and data visualizations.
Translate and condense complex scientific material to help build AI training datasets.
Record findings, call out discrepancies, and suggest ways to improve scientific precision.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support delivery of high-quality outputs.

Requirements

Substantial experience in scientific, laboratory, research, manufacturing, or quality-focused settings.
Proven capability to assess scientific graphics, experiment results, and technical publications with a critical eye.
Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills for complex scientific material.
Ability to evaluate dashboards, charts, and other scientific visual content for correctness.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on precise documentation and constructive feedback.

Additional Information

This is a remote contract role based in Canada.

Commitment is expected to be between 10 and 40 hours per week.
