School Engagement Officer / Manager

Role overview

This position focuses on managing school-level engagement and maintaining strong client relationships on site. The role acts as a central communication bridge for stakeholders, supports onboarding, and helps ensure issues are resolved quickly and effectively.

What you'll do

• Oversee client engagement at site level and help maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders.
• Act as the main contact for clients, including assistance with onboarding and day-to-day communication.
• Spot operational concerns, support service recovery actions, and make sure follow-ups happen in a timely manner.
• Assist schools with environmental programmes and sustainability-related initiatives.
• Plan and coordinate engagement sessions and events connected to facilities management, safety, and sustainability.
• Support QA/QC teams with regular checks and site inspections.

What we're looking for

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in client engagement, facilities management, or operations support, ideally in education or institutional settings.
• Background in acting as a primary point of contact and helping with client onboarding while keeping communication channels effective.
• Strong troubleshooting ability, with experience identifying issues, contributing to recovery efforts, and tracking stakeholder follow-up.
• Exposure to environmental and sustainability programmes, plus the ability to support stakeholder participation in such initiatives.
• Experience planning and coordinating engagement activities, events, or sessions linked to FM, safety, or sustainability.
