First Student is looking for a School Bus Monitor/Aide in Huntsville, AL. This position supports safe and reliable student transportation by keeping a close watch on riders, assisting the driver, and helping maintain orderly daily operations. The role is centered on safety, service, and dependable route support.

What you will be doing

  • Keep an eye on student conduct during the ride and take steps to protect student safety.
  • Help students board and exit the bus safely.
  • Stay in clear communication with the driver, parents, and school personnel.
  • Support pre-trip and post-trip checks, and assist the driver while backing up.
  • Help carry out emergency evacuations and perform basic bus cleaning tasks.
