Job description
Role Overview
First Student is seeking School Bus Monitors to help maintain a safe, orderly, and supportive environment for students during transportation. In this role, you will assist with route operations, support the driver, and help ensure children travel to and from school safely each day.
Key Duties
- Keep an eye on student conduct and support a safe ride throughout transit.
- Assist children while they get on and off the bus.
- Stay in clear communication with the driver, parents, and school personnel.
- Carry out before- and after-route checks and help the driver when reversing.
- Support emergency evacuation procedures and perform basic bus cleaning.
