Role Overview
Join as a School Bus Driver in Battleford, Saskatchewan, contributing significantly to community well-being by safely transporting students to and from school each weekday. This role involves morning pickups and afternoon drop-offs, with opportunities for additional hours during field trips and special events.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting pay of $20.25 per hour, adjusted based on experience and qualifications

Daily Responsibilities
- Ensure safe transportation of students to their destinations and school activities
- Supervise and assist students during boarding and disembarking, including help with seatbelts and mobility devices
- Maintain discipline on the bus to minimize distractions
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections focusing on brakes, lights, tires, and emergency exits
- Report mechanical problems promptly and maintain cleanliness inside the bus
- Adhere rigorously to all traffic rules and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents, school officials, and dispatch regarding student behavior and trip schedules
- Exhibit leadership and strong customer service capabilities
Ideal Candidates and Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license for a minimum of one year
