Job description

Role Overview

This position supports store operations by handling scheduling, staffing, payroll-related administration, training coordination, compliance, and a range of clerical tasks. The role partners with store leadership and human resources so they can stay focused on people leadership and business priorities. It also helps maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked store environment while delivering strong customer service to both internal and external customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide a professional, approachable experience for internal partners such as store leadership, HR, and associates, as well as external customers.
  • Track and manage associate and driver schedules so product deliveries happen on time and shelves are replenished efficiently.
  • Follow safe work practices and encourage others to do the same.
  • Handle administrative work connected to staffing, scheduling, payroll, training, compliance, and talent acquisition.
  • Maintain associate records and paperwork, and keep the break room and training rooms organized.
  • Update time and attendance information in line with company procedures.
  • Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with reviewing candidates, scheduling interviews, and moving applicants through the hiring process.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks related to Worker’s Compensation, General Liability, and Auto Claims to help reinforce a strong safety culture.
  • Balance multiple administrative priorities throughout the day with strong organization.

Scheduling and Work Expectations

This role is generally scheduled for 39 to 40 hours per week for full-time work, or up to 25 hours per week if part-time scheduling is used. Additional hours may be needed depending on store demand. Availability is required in the morning, afternoon, and evening on any day of the week. Requests for time off on specific days must be submitted in advance and approved by a supervisor.

Travel and Physical Requirements

Regular travel is not part of this job, although occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training sessions, or support at nearby stores. The role requires the ability to lift at least 10 pounds without assistance and may involve lifting more than 10 pounds with or without assistance.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with experience in retail, administrative coordination, confidential staff information handling, and cross-functional teamwork. Experience with staffing activities such as posting roles, screening candidates, and arranging interviews is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The hourly pay range for this role is $19.00 to $21.30. Starting pay can vary depending on the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
