About the Role
KBR Inc. is seeking a skilled Scaffolder II to join their team in Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This role involves the assembly and dismantling of scaffolding structures to provide safe work platforms, handrails, and temporary setups such as stages or catwalks necessary for maintenance tasks. Responsibilities
- Interpret drawings and supervisory instructions to identify the materials required and establish ground levels.
- Construct scaffold bases by assembling steel pipes, beams, braces, and clamps.
- Lift and align scaffold sections using frames or sections, then bolt pipes to complete scaffolding structures.
- Install planks over beams to ensure secure working platforms.
- Utilize prefabricated scaffolding parts when possible to reduce time and costs.
- Dismantle and clean scaffolding materials after job completion.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping following work completion.
- Adhere strictly to HSE policies and regulations as prescribed by SATORP.
- Have proper awareness of plant hazardous materials.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
- Understand and implement the planks color coding and the respective "USE/NO-USE" tagging system.
- Attend scheduled safety and technical training sessions.
- Fulfill Competency Based Training requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in maintenance within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Minimum educational qualification: High School diploma.
- Possession of a valid certification from a recognized third-party or accredited Saudi institution evidencing qualification and competency.
- Strong technical knowledge pertaining to maintenance management in Oil & Gas facilities.
- Well-organized, proactive, and excellent communication abilities.
- Capability to perform effectively under pressure and problem-solve.
- Able to work successfully in a multicultural work environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to reside and work in Saudi Arabia.
