The group is a main dealer for Mercedes-Benz, BYD, Smart, XPeng and ŠKODA in Dublin. It is currently hiring a Saturday Receptionist to join the team based on the Navan Road in Dublin 7.
Key Duties
- Answer incoming and outgoing phone calls and route them appropriately.
- Understand what each customer needs and handle calls in a courteous, professional way.
- Treat every visitor and caller as a valued guest.
- Send thank-you cards after telephone surveys are completed.
- Enter, maintain and update customer records in the DMS system and other portals.
- Reach out to customers about new product launches, vehicle updates, test-drive promotions and used-car offers.
- Keep the CRM updated with leads and any relevant information gathered.
- Escalate customer concerns to the appropriate manager when needed.
- Distribute Smart text campaigns for new and used car sales.
- Follow up with customers after vehicle handover to check satisfaction levels.
- Work closely with the service administration team to help ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Handle GDPR-related customer data matters carefully.
- Prepare reports and carry out a range of ad hoc administrative tasks.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints where possible.
- Provide holiday cover for the showroom host when required.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in a comparable receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong customer service capabilities are essential.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Good administration and IT ability is needed.
- A commitment to excellent customer care and high service standards is expected.
- A professional telephone manner is important.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- The ideal candidate should be organised, detail-focused and able to work efficiently.
- Ability to use initiative, manage several tasks at once and work to deadlines is important.
- Should be a strong team player.
- Must be adaptable, quick to learn and able to think on their feet.
- A positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach is preferred.
- Should be able to identify customer needs and expectations accurately.
