Role Summary

As a key member of the team managing SAS data warehouse systems, you will serve as a primary contact for maintaining and expanding our SAS environment. Your main tasks will include ensuring smooth operations of existing SAS systems and planning new SAS infrastructures to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure stable and uninterrupted SAS system operations by managing, monitoring, and overseeing daily batch processing tasks.
• Conduct regular maintenance activities including system checks and deploying updates such as SAS hotfixes, security patches, and other necessary system updates.
• Implement necessary adjustments and enhancements for current and new SAS platforms, including installations and enforcing security requirements.
• Maintain clear documentation of your processes and solutions using collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Teams, ensuring team transparency and accessibility.
• Adopt a solution-focused approach by breaking down complex issues, identifying faults, and developing effective resolutions while keeping an overall system perspective.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completed studies in a STEM discipline or equivalent practical expertise.
• Substantial experience in administering, operating, and advancing SAS system landscapes.
• Advanced SAS knowledge related to SAS Business Intelligence, SAS Visual Analytics; familiarity with SAS Viya is a plus.
• Operating system experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux, IBM AIX, Windows Client/Server environments, and job scheduling platforms like IBM LSF or Broadcom Automic.
• Desirable experience with Kubernetes clusters and associated cloud services.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving orientation with excellent communication and customer-service skills.
