SAP TM Consultant - PAN India

About the Role

This role sits within Infosys’ Enterprise Package Application Services stream and is focused on SAP Transportation Management (TM) technical consulting across implementation, support, and upgrade engagements. The position is based in Hyderabad, India, with PAN India hiring coverage.

What You’ll Do

• Work with clients to understand their pain points, identify the root cause of issues, and shape practical solutions that support successful deployment.
• Contribute to proposal development by owning portions of the document and adding solution inputs based on your area of expertise.
• Plan configuration tasks, set up the product according to the solution design, run conference room pilots, and help clarify requirement or design-related queries.
• Deliver product or solution demonstrations, run proof-of-concept / proof-of-technology workshops, and prepare effort estimates aligned to customer budget expectations and internal financial rules.
• Take ownership of small projects and support team-level as well as organization-level initiatives aimed at creating high-value solutions for customers.
• Develop strategies and operating models that help clients innovate, grow, and improve profitability.
• Assess current business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend suitable technology-based solutions.
• Manage client interactions, collaborate effectively across teams, and contribute to project and team management activities.

Technical Scope

• Provide SAP TM technical support for implementation, enhancement, support, and upgrade work.
• Use strong knowledge of ABAP best practices along with OOPS, BOPF, BRFplus, PPF, FPM, POWL, and FBI.
• Handle integration scenarios across SAP EM, SAP ERP, PI, EDI, and third-party systems.
• Develop and modify code in line with project standards and delivery timelines.
• Raise OSS messages for standard product issues and coordinate with Basis, SAP, and functional teams until closure.
• Work with release management to monitor and control transports from development to production, ensuring correct order and dependencies.

Education and Eligibility

Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree. Eligible applicants include B.Tech / B.E. graduates in any specialization, as well as B.Sc and B.C.A. candidates in any specialization.
