Role overview
CGI is looking for an experienced SAP IBP Functional Lead / Senior Consultant to join its team in Hyderabad, with Pune preferred and other CGI locations also open in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune. This role calls for a seasoned SAP professional who can lead functional discussions, handle end-to-end implementation work, and partner with both business and technical teams.
Experience and notice period
The position is open to candidates with 10 to 18 years of overall experience. Immediate joiners are preferred, and the acceptable notice period is up to 15 days.
Mandatory skills
- Hands-on SAP IBP experience focused on S&OP and supply planning
- SAP ECC integration knowledge
- Experience with SAP CI-DS
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
- Proven background in complete SAP implementation projects
Key responsibilities and requirements
The selected candidate should bring more than 10 years of total SAP experience, including at least 4 years of direct SAP IBP functional work. Strong capability is needed in SAP IBP Planner Workspace, key figure design, analytics and dashboarding, supply heuristics, and master data setup. The role also requires practical exposure to SAP ECC master data such as material master, BOM, routing, work centers, and production versions, as well as transactional data including sales orders, purchase orders, stock, production orders, and planned orders. Experience using SAP CI-DS for integration, issue resolution, and interface checks is essential. A solid understanding of supply chain planning, S&OP, and supply planning processes is also expected. The candidate must be able to act as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams and should come from a Tier 1, Tier 2, or other reputed organization with strong communication skills.
