Job Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain SAP Financial Accounting (FI) modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset and Bank Accounting, and Tax Accounting.
- Implement and provide ongoing support for global indirect tax requirements, including VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax, Withholding Tax, Reverse Charge Mechanism, and e-Invoicing and e-Reporting.
- Develop and manage taxation strategies that comply with regulations across various countries and legal entities.
- Participate in SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation and rollout projects.
- Ensure seamless integration of FI with other SAP modules like Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, Controlling, Treasury, and Procurement.
- Collaborate closely with finance and tax teams to meet localization and compliance needs.
- Draft functional specifications for technical development, including enhancements and reports, coordinating with development teams.
- Support activities related to tax determination, reporting, reconciliation, and assist in testing phases including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing as well as production support.
- Lead issue resolution and root cause analysis and promote continuous improvement in processes.
Mandatory Qualifications
- At least 5 years’ experience in SAP FI/FICO roles.
- Exposure to a minimum of one or two full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
- In-depth knowledge of global tax compliance and localization requirements.
- Experience working on SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and client-oriented communication skills.
Additional Job Information
Locations for this role include Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Coimbatore. Suitable candidates should possess a graduate degree. This is a full-time role requiring onsite presence.
