Job description
Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) and Tax Integration Specialist to support Qatar-based compliance initiatives. The role involves implementing and managing SAP DRC tailored for Qatar's regulations, integrating SAP systems with the Qatar General Tax Authority (GTA) portals, and ensuring compliance across customer and vendor invoicing processes including Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
Key Duties
- Deploy and configure SAP DRC solutions customized for Qatar’s localization requirements.
- Ensure readiness for evolving e-invoicing, VAT, and digital tax reporting mandates within Qatar.
- Design and maintain secure integrations between SAP and Qatar tax systems using APIs, XML, and middleware technologies such as SAP CPI/PI.
- Coordinate the integration of SAP DRC with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Vendor Invoice Management modules to guarantee compliant invoice validation and reporting.
- Support organizational adherence to corporate tax regulations introduced in Qatar in 2023 and prepare necessary tax and audit documentation.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams (Finance, Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, VIM) to ensure smooth end-to-end integration, testing, and deployment.
- Provide advanced level production support (L2/L3) for SAP DRC and tax-related integrations, resolving issues with tax portal connectivity, invoice validation, and submissions.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of SAP experience specializing in SAP DRC, eDocument, ACR, and tax compliance implementations.
- Practical knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Vendor Invoice Management processes, with preference for experience in OpenText VIM.
- Willingness to work on-site in Doha, Qatar.
