About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) and Tax Integration Specialist to lead the implementation and management of SAP DRC solutions tailored for Qatar's regulatory environment. The role involves ensuring compliance with Qatar's e-invoicing, VAT, and digital reporting regulations by integrating SAP systems with the General Tax Authority (GTA) portals and managing related invoicing processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain SAP DRC modules customized to meet Qatar's legal requirements.
- Ensure system readiness for electronic invoicing and upcoming digital tax mandates in Qatar.
- Design and maintain secure integrations between SAP and Qatar's GTA tax portals, facilitating electronic submission of tax documents such as VAT returns and invoice compliance reports.
- Manage invoice processes across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Vendor Invoice Management to guarantee compliance and audit readiness in line with Qatar's tax rules.
- Monitor adherence to Qatar Corporate Tax legislation introduced in 2023 and assist in generating tax reports, regulatory filings, and audit documentation.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams including Finance, Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, and VIM to ensure seamless integration and robust interface design using platforms such as SAP CPI/PI/PO.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for production environments, troubleshooting issues related to tax portal connectivity, invoice validation errors, and submission failures while coordinating with external vendors and Qatar GTA for resolutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in SAP, emphasizing Document and Reporting Compliance and tax-related functionalities.
- Proficient hands-on knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Vendor Invoice Management (preferably OpenText VIM).
