Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP BW on HANA professional with over 4 years of expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in SAP BW, BW on HANA, BW ABAP, and hybrid modeling, capable of supporting complex project deployments from analysis through to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP BW and BW on HANA, including architecture, modeling, ETL, extraction, and reporting.
- Apply expertise in BW ABAP programming, including routines, classes, AMDP, procedures, and ABAP CDS, to deliver technical solutions.
- Execute hybrid modeling using native HANA modeling techniques such as Calculation Views and CDS Views.
- Lead end-to-end project work starting from requirement gathering, functional analysis, creating high-level (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD), building, testing, and production deployment.
- Thoroughly analyze and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and maintain extensive SAP BW environment expertise.
- Manage projects using Agile Scrum methodologies ensuring timely delivery of complex solutions.
- Provide functional knowledge in production planning, finance, and month-end closing processes to align technical deliverables with business needs.
- Be flexible in supporting the team during the month-end close (MEC) period.
- Preferred experience with DevOps and test automation tools to enhance deployment efficiency.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving capabilities to address technical challenges.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience with SAP BW and BW on HANA implementations.
- Mandatory knowledge of BW ABAP programming techniques.
- Comprehensive understanding of BW key areas including architecture, modeling, data extraction, ETL, and reporting.
- Familiarity with the LSA++ architecture framework.
- Strong experience in hybrid modeling and native HANA components such as Calculation and CDS Views.
- Proven track record delivering end-to-end SAP BW solutions, from requirement to production deployment.
- Ability to analyze business needs and convert them into technical specifications.
- Experience working within Agile Scrum teams.
- Preferred functional exposure to production planning, finance, and month-end closing activities.
- Knowledge of DevOps and test automation is a plus.
- Immediate joiners will be prioritized.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary
The annual salary range for this role is between 1,000,000 and 1,200,000 INR.
