Role Overview
This position is for an experienced SAP ABAP on HANA professional based in Visakhapatnam. The role focuses on building, enhancing, and supporting technical SAP solutions across development, integrations, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build advanced ABAP solutions such as reports with ALV, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and form-based outputs using Adobe Forms or SmartForms.
- Develop custom business logic for pricing routines, output determination, sales document flow, delivery processing, and billing scenarios.
- Create and maintain integrations between SAP and external systems through IDocs, EDI, BAPIs, and REST/SOAP web services.
- Investigate production problems, identify root causes, and tune the performance of custom programs that run slowly.
- Prepare and update detailed technical specifications along with unit test records for every development item.
Required Experience and Expertise
- 8 to 12 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP OTC (SD) and Logistics/SCOP processes.
- Solid experience with ALE/IDoc setup and SAP integrations with third-party platforms such as Salesforce, 3PL providers, or e-commerce systems.
- Practical use of the Enhancement Framework, including User Exits like MV45AFZZ, BAdIs, and both explicit and implicit enhancements.
- Strong understanding of the SAP Data Dictionary, including custom tables and views.
