About the Role
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking experienced SAP ABAP HANA Consultants to join their expanding SAP practice located in Visakhapatnam (Vizag). This role involves contributing to the design, development, and support of SAP ABAP applications optimized for the HANA platform. The position includes opportunities for virtual interviews scheduled on 25th July 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP applications running on HANA database.
- Develop and improve Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Forms, and Enhancements (RICEFW objects).
- Work extensively on Core Data Services (CDS) Views, ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), and OData Services while optimizing processes for SAP HANA.
- Implement and support SAP workflows, Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs), Business Add-Ins (BADIs), User Exits, and custom Enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver customized SAP solutions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot existing SAP programs to improve functionality and performance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP development, specifically on the HANA platform.
- Expertise in ABAP on HANA, including advanced use of CDS Views and AMDP coding.
- Experience developing and maintaining OData Services.
- Knowledge of SAP enhancement techniques including BADIs, User Exits, and Customer Exits.
- Solid experience with Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.
- Competence in performance tuning within the SAP HANA environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 technologies.
- Workflow development experience.
- Understanding of integration points with SAP functional modules such as SD, MM, and FI.
