Role Overview

This opportunity is for a senior SAP ABAP consultant to support technical development work and contribute to an AMS project. The position is based in Noida, India, with the work location specified as offshore. The role calls for someone who can handle assigned objects independently while also guiding junior team members when needed.

Key Responsibilities

The consultant is expected to manage technical delivery, handle ABAP development tasks, and support less experienced team members through mentoring. Independent ownership of assigned development items is an important part of the role.

Technical Expectations

Strong hands-on experience in RICEF object development, including reports, interfaces, classes, enhancements, and forms.
Practical knowledge of user exits, customer exits, and enhancement techniques.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming in ABAP.
Experience with interface development using RFC, SOAP, and APIs.
Working knowledge of SAP upgrade activities such as SPAU and SPDD.
Good debugging ability.
Exposure to IDoc and interface programming.
Experience with Smart Forms and SAPscript.
Working knowledge of OData.

Preferred Skills

Hands-on experience with Fiori.
Knowledge of HANA CDS views.
Exposure to AMDP procedures.
Basic understanding of SAP UI5 and Fiori.

Mandatory Experience

Candidates should have at least 7 to 8 years of SAP ABAP development experience and prior implementation exposure.
