Job Overview

The role of Salesforce Administrator is pivotal to maintaining the Salesforce.com environment. Responsibilities include routine system administration, audits, managing integrations, and partnering with cross-functional teams to capture and document requirements. The individual will support system stability, development, change management, and user education to elevate organizational Salesforce expertise.

Core Responsibilities

  • Function as the principal system administrator managing Salesforce.com.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updating user accounts, generating reports and dashboards, configuring workflows, and other administrative duties.
  • Conduct internal audits of the system and prepare for Salesforce platform updates.
  • Oversee data feeds and seamless integrations between Salesforce and other systems.
  • Manage the assessment, planning, and execution of new feature requests.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish optimal processes that support administration, development, and change initiatives.
  • Provide training for new users and contribute to the enhancement of Salesforce capabilities within the team.
  • Serve as a communication bridge among users, vendors, and the application development team.
  • Work autonomously with colleagues to define and document detailed requirements for development projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator.
  • Preferred certifications include Salesforce Admin (ADM201 and ADM211), Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Developer credentials.
  • Proven track record in process design and promoting user adoption.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce platform functionalities such as custom applications, objects, formula fields, workflows, and tailored views of moderate complexity.
  • Expertise in Salesforce best practices and system capabilities.
  • Strong skills in data management and handling complex project completions.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, comprehend, and communicate intricate requirements effectively.
  • Experience in SCRUM or Agile methodologies is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging all organizational hierarchy levels.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests, meet deadlines, and coordinate tasks across different departments.
  • Creative and analytical problem-solving aptitude.

Additional Details

  • Shift Hours: Either 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM or 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM.
