Role overview
eXtra (United Electronics Co.) is hiring a Sales Team Leader for its Retail Stores operations in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The position is focused on leading daily sales performance, supporting store execution, and helping the team deliver a strong customer experience.
Sales performance
- Sell products and services while supporting the team in reaching section-level sales targets and KPIs.
- Coach team members during more complex sales transactions and help highlight the value of products and services.
- Track competitor actions and share useful feedback with management.
- Take an active role in seasonal campaigns and promotional activities, making sure they follow company guidelines.
Visual merchandising and store standards
- Ensure planograms, product displays, and promotional setups are carried out correctly.
- Keep merchandise accurately priced, well arranged, and available on the sales floor throughout the day.
- Oversee daily recovery tasks and support proper closing standards for the store.
Safety, security, and inventory control
- Assist with loss prevention by spotting risks early and escalating issues without delay.
- Follow company policies closely and help reduce shrinkage.
- Review stock levels, flag out-of-stock items, and work to reduce clearance, open-box, and repaired-product inventory.
- Support accurate cycle counts and stock record maintenance so products remain available for customers.
Customer experience
- Help maintain a positive shopping journey by monitoring service quality and resolving customer concerns effectively.
- Review customer satisfaction results and partner with store management to improve performance.
- Contribute to store action plans that strengthen service standards and overall results.
- Keep the section tidy, clean, and aligned with presentation expectations.
Team leadership and coordination
- Guide, motivate, and coach the sales team on a regular basis.
- Monitor individual performance and identify areas where training is needed.
- Create staff schedules that ensure proper coverage during busy periods.
- Support communication and implementation of company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Make sure the team follows rules related to uniform, attendance, and professional behavior.
Qualifications and working expectations
This role calls for 2 to 5 years of retail sales experience, including 1 to 2 years in a supervisory or team leader position. The right candidate should be a strong leader with the ability to coach others, improve performance, and consistently meet sales goals. Fluency in Arabic and English is required, along with solid computer skills, especially with POS systems and Excel. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and peak retail periods is also necessary.
