Role Overview
The Sales Support Specialist (Saudi Talent) position is based in Dammam and focuses on providing day-to-day administrative and operational assistance to the sales team. The role helps ensure sales activities and customer-related workflows run smoothly, while maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, handling inquiries, organizing documentation, and strengthening overall sales efficiency.
This position also supports accounts receivable operations by tracking unpaid balances, following up with customers, addressing billing issues, and keeping financial records up to date. By working closely with internal teams and customers, the role contributes to smooth operations, better customer experience, and business goal achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales team with administrative and operational tasks.
- Collect, maintain, and review sales data and performance reports.
- Handle customer and prospect queries promptly and professionally.
- Arrange sales meetings, conferences, and related events.
- Assist sales staff with presentations, sales collateral, customer orders, and contract papers.
- Organize and safeguard sales files, records, and documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams to keep sales processes aligned and communication clear.
- Reach out to customers about overdue payments and collection follow-up.
- Help resolve payment concerns and support payment plan arrangements where needed.
- Track accounts receivable balances and monitor outstanding amounts.
- Enter and update payment details in financial systems.
- Respond to customer questions regarding invoices, payments, and account information.
- Partner with Finance and other teams to close billing and payment gaps.
- Prepare and review aging reports to identify overdue accounts and assist with collections.
Requirements
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related discipline is required; knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, or electrical industries is considered an advantage.
- Between 2 and 5 years of experience in sales administration, customer service, accounts receivable, sales support, or a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organization, time management, and multitasking capabilities.
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Good skills in call handling and customer follow-up.
- A positive mindset and a strong commitment to service quality and customer satisfaction.
