Role overview
Micromail, now part of Presidio, is hiring a Sales Support Specialist to strengthen the sales operations team within the Licensing Centre of Excellence. The role is based in Cork or Dublin and is focused on keeping sales processes running efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Micromail is recognised in Ireland as a major software reseller and licensing partner, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft and Adobe.
What you will do
- Enter and place orders using internal tools and supplier systems.
- Draft, prepare, and send quotes to customers.
- Receive, review, and process incoming customer purchase orders.
- Monitor and manage shared mailboxes.
- Become highly proficient in the customer portal and ITSM system.
- Train portal users and provide ongoing support where needed.
- Respond to first-line customer questions and issues.
- Complete vendor-led training whenever required.
- Assist Account Managers with important client accounts.
- Maintain sales support documents, including product and pricing lists.
- Address customer queries, complaints, and follow-up actions.
- Help internal teams with general administrative work as required.
What the company is looking for
- Working knowledge of the IT sales channel.
- Experience in a similar support-focused role is a plus.
- Exposure to vendor ordering systems, especially Microsoft and Adobe platforms, would be beneficial.
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers, partners, and colleagues.
- Excellent organisation, multitasking ability, and close attention to detail.
- A diploma or degree in Business, Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a similar area is an advantage, though relevant equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Applicants must be an EU citizen or hold Stamp 4 work authorisation.
Additional information
This is a full-time position. The working setup is hybrid, with attendance required in either the Cork or Dublin office.
