Role overview
The Sales Support Analyst in Grade IE is responsible for delivering essential operational and business assistance to Sales, Partners, and related teams. The position is centered on ensuring deals are processed accurately, on time, and in line with company and contractual requirements. It also contributes directly to revenue support, process reliability, and partner relationship management, especially when activity levels are at their highest.
Key responsibilities
- Support internal teams with the timely and accurate handling of sales requests, including complex quotation work such as Enterprise License Agreements, compliance-related quotes, upgrades, and swaps.
- Check order paperwork and related documentation to confirm it is complete, correct, and compliant with internal standards.
- Work with teams across Legal, Finance, and Operations to obtain approvals and other needed deliverables.
- Coordinate with Legal to make sure contractual materials remain up to date, suitable for use, and applied correctly.
- Provide clear direction to internal stakeholders and help teams understand sales support procedures and workflow expectations.
- Assist partners through the Deal Registration process by offering guidance and ongoing support.
- Contribute during end-of-quarter cycles and other busy periods so business deadlines are met.
- Spot gaps in processes and suggest improvements as part of ongoing team-led optimization efforts.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a sales support role, or a comparable mix of education and professional experience.
- 2 years of experience working in a software sales setting.
- Working knowledge of Loopio or similar proposal tools, along with standard office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and order management systems, including Salesforce and CPQ, for license, renewal, and SaaS/on-demand products.
- Strong troubleshooting ability and a customer-focused mindset.
- Self-driven working style with an interest in improving internal processes.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to use clear, professional business language.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, high-pressure, matrixed environment.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Availability to work standard office hours from 9:00am to 5:30pm local time, with additional hours expected during peak periods such as month-end, quarter-end, and year-end, as well as for cross-geo meetings and projects.
Work schedule
This is a full-time onsite role based in Cork, County Cork, Ireland. Standard working hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm local time. The role may require extra hours during the busiest points of the month, quarter, and year, and participation in meetings or projects across geographies.
