Role overview
This full-time, on-site opportunity in Dunedin combines customer-facing retail work with warehouse operations. The position suits someone who enjoys helping customers, handling stock, and keeping day-to-day store and yard activities running smoothly.
Compensation and schedule
- Hourly pay of NZ$28.95.
- Immediate commencement is available.
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm.

Key duties
- Serve customers at the counter and support retail sales activity.
- Answer incoming calls, take orders, and respond to product-related questions.
- Operate a forklift to move stock safely.
- Pick, pack, and send out customer orders.
- Prepare invoices and carry out basic computer-based tasks.
- Keep the warehouse and yard clean, orderly, and presentable.
- Store and move inventory in a way that is safe and efficient.
What you will bring
- A full New Zealand driver licence with F endorsement.
- A valid OSH forklift certificate.
- Prior experience in retail, warehousing, or customer service.
- Clear communication skills and a strong customer service focus.
- Comfort with computers and a careful eye for detail.
- The physical ability to manage manual handling tasks.
- A dependable attitude and the ability to work without close supervision.
- Reliable transport and legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.
Additional information
A current First Aid certificate would be an advantage, although it is not essential. You must also be prepared to complete a pre-employment drug test and medical assessment. This role is ideal for someone with forklift experience and a practical, hands-on approach who also enjoys interacting with customers.
